DAY 330: Daniel 6: Daniel was found in the lion’s den because he was faithful, no fault was found in him.

Daniel 6:3 Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.
4 So the governors and satraps sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful; nor was there any error or fault found in him.
5 Then these men said, "We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God."

DAY 330 - Daniel 2:44 the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; … and it shall stand forever.

Daniel 2:44 (New King James Version)

44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

DAY 325: James 5:14-16 The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

  1. Creative – Genesis 1-2
  2. All Powerful – Ephesians 1:19-23
  3. Faithful & True – Deut 7:9, 1 Cor 1:19, Rev 19:11, 1 Ths 5:24
  4. Love – 1 John 4:16, John 3:16
  5. Eternal – Deut 33:27
  6. Holy – 1 Samuel 2:2, Rev 4:8
  7. Just – 1 Peter 3:18, Rev 15:3
  8. Merciful – Eph 2:4-8, Ti 3:5, Heb 4:16, 1Pet 1:3,2:10, 2Pet 3:9
  9. Good – Luke 18-19, Romans 2:4, Matt 7:11

Lesson 2 – The Early Years
(Adam & Eve, Able & Cain, Enoch)

The choices made in life determine destiny.
Text: Genesis 3:8-24, 1 Corinthians 15:22

Lesson 3 – Abraham

Text: Genesis 15:6  – Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness.

Lesson 4 – Joseph, The Dreamer

Text: Genesis 37:19 – Joseph’s brothers referred to Joseph as a dreamer.

Text: Genesis 37:18-35, John 10:10 – The thief comes to steal your dream. As a result hat and resentment can fester.  You can refused to be comforted. Joseph did NOT respond like this.

Text: Genesis 45:5 Joseph was sent to Egypt to preserve life, this was his mission.

Lesson 5 – Moses

Text: Exodus 3:10 – God gives Moses his mission to bring the people of God out of Egypt.

Text: Exodus 4:1-9,12 – God gives Moses supernatural ability to perform his mission.

Text: Exodus 4:10-17, 6:10-13 – Moses focuses on his own ability.  People of God should NOT behave like this.  If God calls, He equips.

Lesson 6 – David

Text: 1 Samuel 16:1-3, 6-13 Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart.

Text: 2 Samuel 13 one of David’s biggest failures was his family.  Remember your family is your first ministry (after relationship with God).

Text: 1 Samuel 13:14 David was a man after God’s own heart.  David trusted in the Lord. David was a worshipper, he esteemed and honor leadership, he  kept his word, David was loyal.

Lesson 7 – Peter

Text: Matt 14:22-33, 17:1-8, 19:27-29, John 13:3-9, 18:1-11 Peter was impulsive, outspoken and bold.  So don’t worry.  God can use all personality types.

Lesson 8 – Paul

Miracles by the hand of Paul:

  1. Sorcerer made blind – Acts 13:6-12
  2. Lame man healed Acts 14:8-18
  3. Girl delivered from the spirit of divination – Acts 16:16-19

  4. Marriage – 1 Corinthians 7
  5. Fruit of the Spirit – Galatians 5
  6. Five-fold ministry – Ephesians 4
  7. The new covenant – Hebrews
  8. Grace – Romans 2:4

DAY 319: Psalm 113:5 Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on high,

Psalm 113:5 (New King James Version)

5 Who is like the LORD our God,
         Who dwells on high,

how the prayer class has affected you; what have you learned (if anything)?

I have learned the following three truths from prayer class.

1)  intimacy.  “Prayer is communication for the purpose of relationship which lead to intimacy with God.”

Intimacy is the ultimate goal of prayer.  Intimacy simply means to know God. Similarly as Adam knew his wife, Eve which produced their first fruits of Cain and Abel.  Or as I intimately know my wife, Felicia and we had a son, Caleb.

Fruit bearing is a byproduct of intimacy.  The majority of the common contemporary teaching on prayer (which I mostly rejected) has been on how to get your prayers answered; as if God is just a big Santa Clause.

The truth of ultimate goal is prayer is intimacy will follow me to eternity.

2)  The second truth I learned was the difference between repeated confessions (or declarations) and vain repetitions as my Saviour specified in Matthew 6:7.

Matthew 6:7 “And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.”

Simply put, the heart of the repeater determines if it an effect confession/declaration or vain repetition.

3)  Thirdly, I learned that we can worship each expression of God (i.e.  God as Father,  God as Son, and God as Holy Spirit) I was kind of getting a bit legalistic in my prayers based upon the following scripture.

John 16:23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.”

Thanks Mary Parker for letting the Lord use you to teach this class.

DAY 317: Hebrews 11:17-19 By faith Abraham, offered up Isaac, concluding that God was able to raise the promised seed from the dead

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 of whom it was said, "In Isaac your seed shall be called,"
19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

DAY 316: Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain…God testifying of his gifts:

Hebrews 11:4 (King James Version)

4By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

DAY 315 – Hebrews 10:38-39 we are not those who draw back, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him."
39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

DAY 314: Hebrews 10:1-17 we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

9 then He said, "Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first that He may establish the second.
10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,
13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.
14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"
17 then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."

DAY 314: Psalm 108:5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth;

Psalm 108:5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth;

DAY 313: Hebrews 9:11-28 the death of the Testator once offered, cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.
12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
16 For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.

22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

DAY 311 – Hebrews 8: a better covenant established on better promises

Hebrews 8 -

6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
13 In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

DAY 308: Ezekiel 11:19-20 And I will give them one heart, …and I will be their God

Eze 11:19  And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
Eze 11:20  That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

DAY 304 - Hebrews 2:16 aid to the seed of Abraham.

Hebrews 2:16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.

DAY 303 Lamentations 3:23 Great is Your faithfulness

Lamentations 3:22 Through the LORD'S mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

DAY 302 Psalm 101:3 I will set nothing wicked before my eyes;

DAY 302 http://t.co/frohV1A Psalm 101:3 I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me.

DAY 298 - Proverbs 26:11-12 People who think they are wise

Proverbs 26:11-12 (New Living Translation)

11 As a dog returns to its vomit,
so a fool repeats his foolishness.

12 There is more hope for fools
than for people who think they are wise.

DAY 298 - Psalm 95:6 Bow Down and Worship Him

Psalm 95:6  O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Test Review/Class Recap

Lesson 1 – The Value of Identity 1

Q: What is the value of identity?
A: Understanding your identity (In Christ) will determine what you will receive from God.

Text: Proverbs 23:7 As he thinks in his heart, so is he

Q: what is your identity?
A: identity is your picture of yourself on the inside.

Biblical example of identity can be found in Numbers 13
The story of the Twelve Spies:

  • 10 spies saw themselves as grasshoppers,
2 spies saw themselves as well able.
  • Both were right!
  • Those who thought they could, could.
Those who thought they couldn't, couldn't.
  • An evil report can state the facts correctly!
  • But we choose what we identify with, facts or the Truth of the Word of God.

The way they saw themselves determined what they determined what they received from God.

The picture inside of you is a self-filling prophecy!

Lesson 2 – The Value of Identity 2

Text: Genesis 17:1-7 - Abram becomes Abraham.
Abram in covenant with Jehovah.

In the Bible a change of name often indicates a change of identity.
Abraham was blessed to be the father of many nations

We need an identification overhaul!
We need to be more reliant on the God inside of us.

Identity affects our purpose.

Q: What is the value of your identity 2?
A: In order to accomplish God's purpose, we must see our self the way He sees us.

Conclusion: Change of identity. Change of destiny.
When we believe on Christ we became a new creation,
by which we receive all good things.

Lesson 3 – The Value of Identity 3

Text: Genesis 32:28 – Jacob (the deceiver) becomes
Israel (A prince who has power with God and man).

Identity in the life of Jacob. Genesis 32.

  • v 9-12, Jacob prayed out of fear, not out of an understanding of covenant
    • Not all prayer is of faith!
    • There are many fear-filled prayers.
  • v 13-20, Jacob moved forward with great anxiety
    • The unknown will cause fear
    • Jacob’s own deception is the foundation of fear.
    • deception in the foundation of fear.
  • v 21-23, Jacob did NOT get what he deserved.
    • I do NOT give what I deserve!  Thanks be to God.
  • v 28-32, Jacob had to come to the end of himself.

Conclusion: A proper identity equals a proper destiny.
When we believe on Christ we became a new creation,
by which we receive all good things.

DAY 282 - Proverbs 24:30-34 – The field of a lazy man and his need like an armed bandit

Proverbs 24:30 I went by the field of the lazy man, And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding;
31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Its stone wall was broken down.
32 When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction:
33 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest;
34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

DAY 280 - Colossians 3:1-4 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above

Colossians 3 (New King James Version)

Not Carnality but Christ
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

DAY 280-Jeremiah 9:23-24 But let him who glories glory in this,That he understands and knows Me

Jeremiah 9:23-24 (New King James Version)

23 Thus says the LORD:
“ Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
      Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the LORD.

DAY 280 - Jeremiah 8:22 - Is there no balm in Gilead?

Jeremiah 8:22 (New King James Version)

Is there no physician there?
Why then is there no recovery
For the health of the daughter of my people?

DAY 276 – Proverbs 24:17-20 Don’t Fret, No reward for the evil doer

(Pro 24:17)  Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

(Pro 24:18)  Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

(Pro 24:19)  Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;

(Pro 24:20)  For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

         Amen and Amen.

I see the Lord seated on the throne exalted

And the whole earth is filled
And the whole earth is filled
And the whole earth is filled
With His glory

Holy holy holy holy
Holy is the Lord
Holy holy holy holy
Holy is the Lord of lords

DAY 272: He who began a good work in you - Philippians 1:6

Philippians 1:6 (New King James Version)

6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

DAY 271 - Isaiah 54-57:14

Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the LORD,
And great shall be the peace of your children.

17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
      You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
      Says the LORD.

Isaiah 55 - An Invitation to Abundant Life
1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
      Come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
      Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
      Without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.
      Hear, and your soul shall live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—
      The sure mercies of David.

6 Seek the LORD while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.

8 “ For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
9 “ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 “ For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
      And do not return there,
      But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
      And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Isaiah 56:7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

Isaiah 57:13 When you cry out,
Let your collection of idols deliver you.
But the wind will carry them all away,
      A breath will take them.
But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land,
And shall inherit My holy mountain.”

DAY 270 – Isaiah 53:10 – Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him

Isaiah 53:10  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him, Why?  1) His soul was an offering for sin; 2) the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand

Why? 4  Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows

Why? 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Why?  8 For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

Did He deserve it? 9 …  Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Why?  11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.

Why?  12  And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.

DAY 270: Ephesians 5 – walk in Love a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Ephesians 5 NKJV

1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,

19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,

DAY 269 - Isaiah 49:15 - God will not forget you!

Isaiah 49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.

DAY 266: Proverbs 23:29-34 – Who has sorrow? Those who linger long at the wine!

Proverbs 23 (New King James Version)

29 Who has woe?
      Who has sorrow?
      Who has contentions?
      Who has complaints?
      Who has wounds without cause?
      Who has redness of eyes?
30 Those who linger long at the wine,
Those who go in search of mixed wine.
31 Do not look on the wine when it is red,
When it sparkles in the cup,
When it swirls around smoothly;
32 At the last it bites like a serpent,
      And stings like a viper.
33 Your eyes will see strange things,
And your heart will utter perverse things.
34 Yes, you will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
Or like one who lies at the top of the mast, saying:
"They have struck me, but I was not hurt; They have beaten me, but I did not feel it. When shall I awake, that I may seek another drink?"

Biblical  effects of drinking mixed wine:

v.29 woe, sorrow, complaints, wounds without cause

v.31 – 32 deceptive – sparkles in a cup, but at last bites like a serpent, stings like a viper.

v.33 – heart utter perverse things

v.34 – added sorrow and hurt, but you seek another

DAY 266 – Ephesians 2

Ephesians 2:6 (New King James Version)

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Ephesians 2:13 (New King James Version)

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:18 (New King James Version)

18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

DAY 265 Isaiah 40:31 - those who wait on the LORD

Isaiah 40:31 (New King James Version)

31 But those who wait on the LORD
      Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

DAY 263: Isaiah 35:8-9 Highway of Holiness

Isaiah 35:8-9 (New King James Version)

8 A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
      Shall not go astray.
9 No lion shall be there,
      Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it;
It shall not be found there.
But the redeemed shall walk there,

DAY 263: Galatians 5:13-24 Walking in the Spirit

13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this:“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Walking in the Spirit

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Romans 8:11 – Very Same Power

Romans 8:11 (King James Version)

11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Isaiah 26:3 (New King James Version)

3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
      Because he trusts in You.

DAY 258: Galatians 2:11-21 – Paul withstood Peter: No Return to the Law

Galatians 2 (New King James Version)

No Return to the Law

11 Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; 12 for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 13 And the rest of the Jews also played the hypocrite with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.
14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you compel Gentiles to live as Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
17 “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! 18 For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

Notes:  Even mature Christians such as the Apostle Peter and Barnabas sometimes yield to pressures of religious society works mentality! WOW!

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD,
And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
      Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
      And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,
And faithfulness the belt of His waist.

As men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
4 For You have broken the yoke of his burden
And the staff of his shoulder,
      The rod of his oppressor,
As in the day of Midian.
5 For every warrior’s sandal from the noisy battle,
      And garments rolled in blood,
Will be used for burning and fuel of fire.
6 For unto us a Child is born,
      Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
      Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
      Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Its flames are flames of fire,
      A most vehement flame.

And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

Psalm 51:17 (New King James Version)

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.

DAY 248: Wisdom from Ecclesiastes!

Ecclesiastes 10:10 If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.

Ecclesiastes 11:1 (NKJV) Cast your bread upon the waters, For you will find it after many days.

DAY 247-A 3fold cord is not quickly broken!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (New King James Version)

The Value of a Friend

9 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.

10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.

11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?

12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

DAY 247 Psalm 47:1 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!

DAY 245: Paul’s Appear for Separation from Unbelievers

2 Corinthians 6:14-16a (New King James Version)

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.

DAY 245 & 247: the gift of God: man enjoy his labor!

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 (New King James Version)

12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.

Ecclesiastes 5:18-19 (New King James Version)

18 Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. 19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.

DAY 237 I know that my Redeemer lives!

DAY 237 http://t.co/CIysKiB Job 19:25 (NKJV) For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;

DAY 232: wealth laid up for the just.

Mordecai Is Given Haman’s House

Esther 8:1-3 (NKJV)

1 On that day King Ahasuerus gave Queen Esther the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had told how he was related to her. 2 So the king took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai; and Esther appointed Mordecai over the house of Haman.

3 Now Esther spoke again to the king, fell down at his feet, and implored him with tears to counteract the evil of Haman the Agagite, and the scheme which he had devised against the Jews.

Proverbs 13:22b (KJV) and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

DAY 232: Love is the More Excellent Way!

DAY 230 – Notes From Esther 1:7

DAY 230 http://t.co/10foNcV Esther 1:7 (NKJV)  And they served drinks in golden vessels, each vessel being different from the other, with royal wine in abundance, according to the generosity of the king.

Notes:

each vessel being different – God does not make duplicates! Enjoy your uniqueness.  Also read, 2 Timothy 2:20-21

royal wine in abundance – wine is often called spirits, spiritual application the Holy Spirit without measure.

generosity of the king – Our King of Kings is very generous. Way more generous than any natural king.

2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel[a] of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;  Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

DAY 232: The Words of a King are powerful!

Esther 8:8 (New King James Version)

8 You yourselves write a decree concerning the Jews, as you please, in the king’s name, and sea lit with the king’s signet ring; for whatever is written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s signet ring no one can revoke.”

Ezra: The Words of a King are powerful!

Ezra 1:1-6 King Cyrus makes a proclamation and put it in writing.

1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah, the LORD moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and to put it in writing: 2 "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:

" 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.

Ezra 3:1-7 Rebuilding the Altar, Rebuilding the Temple  as authorized by Cyrus king of Persia.

Ezra 4 Opposition to the Rebuilding, Later Opposition Under Xerxes and Artaxerxes

Ezra 4:24 Thus the work on the house of God in Jerusalem came to a standstill until the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia. (In spite the fact, Cyrus king of Persia had made a proclamation!)

Ezra 5 Tattenai's sends Letter to King Darius 17 Now if it pleases the king, let a search be made in the royal archives of Babylon to see if King Cyrus did in fact issue a decree to rebuild this house of God in Jerusalem. Then let the king send us his decision in this matter.

Ezra 6 The Decree of King Darius v.1 King Darius then re-issued an order…v.7 Do not interfere with the work on this temple of God. Let the governor of the Jews and the Jewish elders rebuild this house of God on its site. 12 May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem. I (King) Darius have decreed it. Let it be carried out with diligence.

Ezra 6:13-18 Completion and Dedication of the Temple.

Notes:

1)  If pagan kings, can make decrees and it stands;  How much more does Word of God stand! Matthew 24:35 (NIV) Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

2) Just as Tattenai contended with King Darius, saints need to  contend with our King (put Him in rememberence of His Word) - Isaiah 43:26 (NKJV) Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.

3) saints are kings (royal priesthood) 1 Peter 2:9.  According to the Word of the Lord in Job 22:28 (NASB),"You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.

DAY 217-Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord (In Faith!)

         Be of good courage,
         And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD!

DAY 216: Psalm 27

Psalm 27 A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;
         Whom shall I fear?
         The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27 by Donnie McClurkin

4 One thing I have desired of the LORD,
         That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.

Romans 9:30-32: Attaining righteousness only through faith

Romans 9:30 What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith;
31 but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone.

Seeking only from physicians.

2 Chronicles 16:12 (NIV) In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet.  Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord,
but only from physicians.

Justified by faith, Access by faith

Romans 5:1-2a Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand,…

Abraham & Justification By Faith, Not by works or following the law of circumcision

Romans 4:1 What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh?
2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.
3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."
4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.
5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
7 "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;
8 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute sin."
9 Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.
10 How then was it accounted? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised.
11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are uncircumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also,
12 and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised.

The Psalm of the arrival of the Ark – 1 Chronicles 16

1Ch 16:7 ¶ On that day David first delivered this psalm into the hand of Asaph and his brethren, to thank the LORD:
8 Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!
9 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!
10 Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD!
11 Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!
12 Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,
13 O seed of Israel His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!
14 He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,
16 The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
17 And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance,"
19 When you were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it.
20 When they went from one nation to another, And from one kingdom to another people,
21 He permitted no man to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,
22 Saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm."
23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
24 Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
25 For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.
27 Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and gladness are in His place.
28 Give to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Give to the LORD glory and strength.
29 Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
30 Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns."
32 Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field rejoice, and all that is in it.
33 Then the trees of the woods shall rejoice before the LORD, For He is coming to judge the earth.
34 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
35 And say, "Save us, O God of our salvation; Gather us together, and deliver us from the Gentiles, To give thanks to Your holy name, To triumph in Your praise."
36 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel From everlasting to everlasting! And all the people said, "Amen!" and praised the LORD.

Identity in Christ

Welcome to the family of God. According to  2 Corinthians 5:17, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  Just like anything new, you must read the manual (in our case the Bible) in order to understand your new self.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. As you meditate and speak over yourself and the following scriptures often, your faith will increase more abundantly in your new Christ nature; your identity in Christ will be firmly established in your heart.

Ephesians 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

According to Deuteronomy 28:12-13 The LORD HAS open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The LORD HAS made you the head and not the tail; you ARE be above only, and not be beneath.

1 Peter 2:9 says you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

when the musician played

2 Kings 3:15 (New King James Version)

15 But now bring me a musician.”
Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.

God of the Mountain is the God of the Valley

1 Kings 20:28 (New King James Version)

28 Then a man of God came and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Because the Syrians have said, “The LORD is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys,” therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the LORD.’”
