Psalm 42:1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.

Leviticus 19:19 - You shall not sow your field with mixed seed

Leviticus 19:19 (NKJV) You shall keep My statutes. You shall not let your livestock breed with another kind. You shall not sow your field with mixed seed. Nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you.
New Testament ideas:

James 1:8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Revelation 3:15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.

Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Matthew 5:8 N Blessed are the pure in heart, For They shall see God.

Mark 4:31-32 -- The Kingdom of God Yields Abundance!

Mark 4:31-32 (NKJV) It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.

Mark 2:21 - The Tear is Made Worse

A new quick patch cannot fix an old womb,
the tear is made worse.

Leviticus 2:13 - Salt is the necessary persevering fidelity in the worship of God

Salt was the opposite to leaven, for it preserved from putrefaction and corruption, and signified the purity and persevering fidelity that were necessary in the worship of God.

Matthew 5:13 (NIV) "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

Exodus 34:30 Old Testament Glory vs New Testament Glory

2 Corinthians 3:11 -

So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever!

Matthew 23:3 - Hypocrites are born in the church

Matthew 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Exodus 17:12 - pity any brother who falls and has no one to help them up

Ecclesiastes 4:10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Deuteronomy 32:30 How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Unless their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had surrendered them?

Matthew 22:12 - Self-righteous = not having a wedding garment?

Big Idea:  Self-Righteous does NOT grant you entry to the great wedding supper. The King provided wedding garments for his guests (robe of righteousness).

How couldest thou expect to meet with acceptance with me, or to be suitable company for my people, not being arrayed with the garments of salvation, and robe of righteousness, as they are?
