A lie gets around the world, while the truth is tying up its shoes

The Lord led me to the scriptural reference that validates Bishop Blackwell's claim: Habakkuk 2:3 (New International Version) says "For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

1. 1. The act of revealing or disclosing.
   2. Something revealed, especially a dramatic disclosure of something not previously known or realized.
2. Theology. A manifestation of divine will or truth.

According to scripture, revelation (or truth) waits for the (1) appointed time (but is certainly coming, (2) speaks of the end, and (3) will NOT prove false. While nonsense and falsehoods (lies) speeds across the nations, the truth is tying its shoes.

Is Moses pulling our leg?

In this week's Sunday school lesson "Accepting Responsibility," Moses responds to the Lord that he is not eloquent in speech (Ex. 4.10) therefore the Lord should consider someone else to deliver Israel from the Egyptians.

Is Moses pulling our leg since Acts 7:22 says that Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words...? Hmmm?

Or could it be that Moses was modest since Numbers 12:3 tells us that the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth?

Anyway this week Sunday School Lesson is going to be good.

How does the two become one?

duh...it's through God

check out Ephesians 2:14-15

Paraphrasing: For He himself has made the two one (unity) and has destroyed the barriers (family ideologies) and the dividing wall of hostility (who has what, keeping up with the Joneses) by abolishing in his flesh - disharmony of any kind (marriage, body of Christ, racial, politics) is grounded in the flesh.

I know this main intent of the aforementioned scripture is primarily for the division between Jews and Gentiles, circumcised & uncircumcised (or those that are in the covenant and those out of covenant), but this is exactly what marriage is: entering into a covenant.

Ecclesiastes 4:12b says "A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." He, God, is the 3rd strand who makes two opposites into one.

How does the two become one? Allow the Master more in your heart and accept the finished work of Calvary (beginning with He has made the two one).
