Acts 11:2 NKJV—And when Peter came up to Jerusalem, those of the circumcision contended with him,

Religious, Self-righteous folks will always contend with the move of the Spirit.

These people were born again, but they had not yet received the revelation that Christianity was different than Judaism and that people did not have to be circumcised to be saved.

Many Christians today do not fully understand that salvation is by belief in Jesus only, apart from any works of our own.  Ephesians 2:8-9

Spiritual Maturity - Biblical Definition

I Corinthians 14:20 (NKJV) Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature.
